100 Business Scholarships

According to the National Center for Educational Statistics, business is the most popular major among undergraduate students. Business is a subject of study likely to yield a high return on investment, but however you look at it, school is expensive. Fortunately, there is a vast array of scholarships available specifically for business students. Below is a sampling of 100 scholarships targeted directly at business students that will help you get started on your financial aid hunt. Nation-Wide Business Scholarships

  • The Ford Business Scholarship is awarded through the Golden Key International Honors Society. There are several other scholarships granted through Golden Key to members and business students.
  • The National Business Association Scholarship program is sponsored by the National Business Association. It awards five $1,500 scholarships each year to association members and their children.
  • The NSA Scholarship Foundation is sponsored by the National Society of Accountants. The society grants several scholarships a year to qualified accounting students.
  • The Delta Mu Delta Scholarship Program grants 25 scholarships totaling $30,000 each year to outstanding business students across the country. The scholarship program is sponsored by Delta Mu Delta.
  • The United Agribusiness League & United Agricultural Benefit Trust Scholarship Program is offered by the United Agribusiness League.This program has granted more than $600,000 to business students pursuing careers in management, government, market development, international sales, and foreign trade .
  • The Gertrude Cox Scholarship is awarded through the American Statistical Association to female statistic students. The American Statistical Association also sponsors several other scholarships for accomplished business students interested in careers in the field of statistics. These include the Wilks Memorial Award and the Waller Education Award .
  • Scholarships.com offers a $1,000 scholarship to one qualified business school student each year.
  • A National Scholarship is provided by the American Woman's Society of Certified Public Accountants to aspiring CPAs. The recipient of the scholarship receives the complete Becker CPA Review Course worth $2,995.
  • The Daniel B Goldberg Scholarship, the Frank L. Greathouse Government Accounting Scholarship, and the Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship are offered through the Government Finance Officers Association. These scholarships are granted to any business students at the graduate and undergraduate levels planning to work in state and local government finance. The awards are for $10,000 and $5,000 respectively.
  • Leaders Scholarship is a $1,000 to $5,000 award granted through the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE). The recipient must be in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management, including public health, business administration, healthcare administration or a related area at a U.S. college or university.
  • General Electric (GE)/LULAC Scholarship is awarded through the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) National Educational Services Centers, Inc. The scholarship is for $5,000 and granted to a business student at any accredited college or university in the U.S. The recipient must be a U.S citizen or legal resident and a minority student.
  • Abraham Mitchell Business Scholarship is awarded through the University of South Alabama to any business student with a 23 ACT score. The association grants five awards of $8,000 per year.
  • The Ritchie-Sennings Memorial Scholarship is sponsored by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. The association grants 30 scholarships of $1,000 each to full time undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited four-year college or university pursing a declared major in accounting, business and finance or criminal science.
  • Earl G. Graves Scholarship is a $5,000 award granted through the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). The recipient must be a junior or senior business major enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States, or a graduate student enrolled in or accepted to a master's or doctoral program within a business school at an accredited college or university in the United States.
  • State and County Specific Business Scholarships
  • South Lorain Merchants Association Scholarship is offered through the Community Foundation of Greater Lorain County to Lorain County residents. The recipient of the $1,250 award must be a high school senior who is planning to major in business or finance.
  • Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation Scholarship is granted through the Fukunage Foundation. The $5,000 award is given to a business administration student in Hawaii.
  • NCMA Denver Chapter Scholarship is offered through the National Contract Management Association - Denver Chapter. The association grants four scholarships of $500 each to high school seniors who are intending to enroll, or college students who are currently enrolled in a college or university, and working on a degree in a contracting or business field of study.
  • Charles W. and Annette Hill Scholarship is awarded through the American Legion – Kansas to college freshmen business students. The recipient must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a descendant of an American Legion member. The award is for $1,000.
  • The Charleston Rotary Club Scholarship is granted through the Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation. The foundation grants five scholarships of $1,000 each year to business students attending a college or university in West Virginia.
  • Economic Club of Grand Rapids Scholarship is offered through the Grand Rapids Community Foundation to students pursuing a business degree in Kent, Michigan or Ottawa, Michigan. The award is for $2,500.
  • Willard H. Erwin Jr. Scholarship is sponsored by the Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation. The $1,000 scholarship is given to West Virginia residents pursuing degrees in business or healthcare finance.
  • Margaret A. Tompkins Oxnard Monday Club Scholarship is offered through the Ventura County Community Foundation. The recipient must be a female graduating high school senior or graduate who is a resident of Oxnard, CA, and majoring in business or science. The award is for $600.

School-Specific Business Scholarships

Minority Business Awards

  • The Johnson Scholarship is awarded to a Native American student attending Sitting Bull College. The recipient must plan to start a new business or expand an existing business on the reservation. The $2,500 award can be used for tuition, internship needs, workshops or training courses.
  • The Procter & Gamble Minority Scholarship is offered through the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The $1,000 award is granted to minority or handicapped students in the College of Business Administration.
  • Bill Reed Scholarship is awarded through Western Washington University to African American students majoring in business or computer science. The award is for $1,000.
  • The U.S. Bank Minority Scholarship is granted through Western Washington University to African-American, Native American, Hispanic-American, or Asian/Pacific Islanders. The school grants five scholarships of $2,000 each to students in a College of Business and Economics program.
  • Consortium for Graduate Study in Management Fellowship program is sponsored by the Consortium and aims to help minority men get ready for management positions. African American, Hispanic American and Native American men are eligible for this award.
  • HSF/Citi Fellow Scholarship Program is sponsored by the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and available to Hispanic students studying business administration, accounting or finance at one of the following institutes: University of California, University of Columbia, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Duke University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, New York University, Northwestern University, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, Rutgers – Camden, Rutgers -- New Brunswick, Rutgers – Newark, Stanford University, University of Texas, University of Virginia or Yale University. The association grants 10 scholarships of $5,000 each per year.
  • The Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship is offered through the Government Finance Officers Association. The scholarship is granted to any business administration minority student at the graduate and undergraduate levels planning to work in state and local government finance. The award is for $5,000 and granted to those of Black or African American, American Indian or Alaskan native, Asian, native Hawaiian or other Pacific islander, Hispanic or Latino heritage.
  • The Lagrant Foundation Scholarship Program is offered through the Lagrant Foundation to undergraduate and graduate students of African American, Asian, Pacific islander, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian, or Alaskan native descent. Recipients must be pursuing careers in the fields of advertising, marketing, or public relations at accredited universities.
  • NBMBAA National Undergraduate Scholarship Program is offered through the National Black MBA Association. The society disburses $1,000 to undergraduate minority business candidates. The National Black MBA Association also sponsors the NBMBAA Collegiate Chapter Scholarship Program.
  • The Arthur and Genevieve Roth Scholarship is awarded to any U.S. citizen of Polish descent majoring in business, finance, banking, or business administration. The scholarship is offered through the Kosciuszko Foundation and students from any university or college may apply.

MBA Business Awards and Fellowships

  • MBA Alumni Community Impact Scholarship if offered to MBA students at Athabasca University. The $3,000 award is given to MBA students who volunteer and play a role in community service.
  • Rita & Charles Gelman Graduate Scholarship is available though Cleary University to a new or continuing student who must be degree seeking and enrolled full-time in a Master of Business Administration program with at least a 3.0 GPA. The $2,000 scholarship is offered annually as funds are available, and is renewable.
  • Robert H. and Catherine H. Goldsmith Scholarship is granted through the California State University - San Marcos to students who have completed an undergraduate degree in business, and wish to further their education by enrolling in the school's MBA program. The award is for $1,500.
  • The National Society of Hispanic MBA's Scholarship Program is sponsored by the National Society of Hispanic MBA's. The society grants several scholarships of $1,000 to $10,000, most of which are renewable, to Hispanic students who are pursing MBA degrees.
  • The McCallum Graduate School of Business Scholarship is offered through Bentley University to NBMBAA members. A full-tuition scholarship is reserved for qualified candidates applying to the two-year full-time MBA program.
  • The NBMBAA National MBA Scholarship Program awards scholarships to deserving graduate students pursuing an MBA. Scholarships range from $1,000 - $15,000 and include membership to the association. The National Black MBA Association sponsors the scholarship program and the recipient must be a minority student.
